      @Xenos I'm using an USB SSD for my roms. It makes it very easy to just unplug it and plug it into my desktop pc to manage roms or images/videos, especially if moving many or big files around, which tends to be very slow over my WLAN connection to the Pi in my DIY upright arcade cabinet.

      @Breadbin As long as the system has 4 working controllers (regardless of how they're connected), it should work. The only possible configuration would be in the emulator options, to enable multi-tap if it's not the default.

      I tried doing the JSTEST, it detected it alright. But it still does not detect the buttons. It says 13 buttons detected but has four nulls in the end if the list which i think represent the nonfunctional buttons. The driver version is 2.1.0, is there a new one and how do i install it?0_1542835782198_48724714-04F0-45ED-9B52-1B74B2C05B8A.jpeg

      My raspberry does not do this
      It takes me straight to the emulators and retroarch screen

      This sounds like you are not booting into a clean image from this site? How did you write the image? What is the name of the image?

      the joystick and buttons are all connected to the circuit board and then into the pie via the Ian connection

      LAN connection???

      How can I overclock the Pi?

      See an explanation of overclocking at

      https://github.com/RetroPie/RetroPie-Setup/wiki/Overclocking https://retropie.org.uk/docs/Overclocking/

      Considering you already have an under voltage situation, overclocking is the last of your options and it's not advised.

      Right now, you should take care of solving the power supply situation. Take the PI out of the case and test to see if you still get the under voltage warning. If there is no under voltage sign, then your case is defective and you shouldn't be using it.

      I believe super mario world does and I tested other games and super mario bros 3 on nes and 2 frames was causing issues with things happening before they should have like deaths. So 1 frame seems to be the sweet spot for 90% of games on nes and snes. Also without using runahead i believe dispmanx with threading turned off seems to be the next best thing for reduced input lag.

      You can set the Pi to boot off an USD drive of you're trying to switch between OSes, but the Win10 you're talking about is the IoT Core edition, that's without any graphical interface and thoroughly slimmed down to the bare necessities.

      It's not Windows as most people understand it. A fresh install of Windows 10 on the Raspberry Pi doesn't boot to the familiar Windows desktop. Instead, Windows 10 IoT Core will show users a single full-screen Universal Windows app. The system will only display the interface of a single app at a time, although additional software can be run in the background. Apps are loaded onto the Pi from a Windows 10 desktop machine.

      @koogelpotato Are the files listed when you ssh/SFTP to the snes rom directory on the pi? If so, check if they are all the accepted file extensions. If you've confirmed the files are indeed on the USB drive, you may want to check your freespace on the pi with df -h to see if you are out of space on the SD card.

      @ss3000

      Try setting the overscan in /boot/config.txt using:

      overscan_left= overscan_right=

      Edit: Of course if that works, you may have to reconfigure your RetroArch display settings to accomodate.

      power supply apples 5.2volts and 2.4 amps

      By the look of the warning messages you get and the 2.4 amps, I'd say your power supply is not very good. If you have 3B+ and/or you power up the LCD screen from your PI, then you'll definitely need a better source.
